Train professionals with the knowledge, skills, orientation and values that enable them, in an interdisciplinary way, to:
Develop the different roles and tasks involved in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, participating in the various stages of the production and modification of goods, such as selection and development of appropriate technology, planning of production methodology, quality control analysis and validation; leading to the production of safe and effective quality pharmaceutical and cosmetic products in an ethical, humanistic framework that responsibly cares for and preserves the environment and species used, while respecting existing regulations
Dispense and select pharmaceutical products and report on their therapeutic use and conservation, as well as collaborate with other health professionals in their distribution and regulation.
Conduct clinical analysis, applying the procedures and operations of the diagnostics area, as well as experimental methods to ensure proper handling of the samples, quality results and adequate interpretation, and effective management of resources, collaborating with other health professionals in the diagnosis and prevention of diseases.
Evaluate in conjunction with judicial authorities the evidence related to crimes, using specific criminology techniques that contribute to the adequate application of the law.
